Mothers

Today at the post office while I was sorting the mail, I noticed a particular piece of mail that stated "Remember, Mother's Day"

It gave me a good feeling, and I thought to myself that I should write about mothers--what it means to me, and thought that I would mention my wife.

I had found yesterday what happiness meant to her, and that gave me an understanding. It is about always thinking of her feelings as follows:

-- Respect my wife's needs but not wants (Sometimes I'd like to spoil her with her "wants," she loves chocolate but uses good judgment to watch her weight)

-- Do nice things for her. In other words, treat her like a queen. I know through my
experience that she truly treats me like a king. It works both ways. Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. One day I wrote a note to my wife and asked for the movie "Tora Tora Tora."  Later I had forgotten about this, but to my amazement, my wife brought home the video for me to watch. I was so amazed that she cared enough to remember such a little thing.

-- Compromise with each other, or sacrifice patiently. After the test comes the blessings. Any blessing gives us state of happiness and peace of mind knowing that everything is fine.  We need to use common sense with each other.

Men!! Best of luck in life!, Remember to always show love an appreciation each and every day to your mothers, and especially your wives. They are the mothers of your children. Remember that not only on Mothers Day, but make every day a Mother's Day.

Sincerely,

Tom Osmond
