 Begin with Gratitude

Dear Friends;

Each night before going to bed, I write in my journal about my day's activities and always try to include something I am thankful for. Attitude
begins with gratitude.

After a long, hard day delivering mail on a new route, I am really thankful for my eyesight. I realize what a blessing it is to be able to see well. It is a real challenge to read all those addresses and find them as quickly as possible.

I read once that when one has a problem with hearing, their eyesight is
better; or when one has a problem with their eyes, they usually have perfect hearing. Interesting! I hope that's right. I am really grateful to be
able to do my work.

Another time I read that some of the best computer operators are those that can't hear well. They don't have as many distractions because of noise so they can concentrate better than others on their work. I am learning to use computers because I am having a good time writing about different things.

I hope some of you will e-mail me at Tom@deaf.net

Love,

Tom Osmond
